Суть скандала заключается в том, что IT-сотрудник посольства создал поддельную ссылку на сайте. В итоге заявителей перенаправляли в частную компанию, где взимали дополнительные $30-60. Выяснилось, что схема действовала около 5 лет, средства поступали на личный счет.
Теперь все сотрудники посольства отозваны в Аккру, IT-отдел дипмиссии расформирован и проводится полная ревизия систем
