Конгрессмен Сет Магазинер (демократ) возглавил группу законодателей, составив письмо Блинкену, в котором призвал ввести санкции против членов правительства Азербайджана, "причастных к военным атакам и жестокой блокаде Нагорного Карабаха", сообщают американские СМИ.
"Эти действия представляют собой грубое нарушение прав человека и насильственный конфликт. И то, и другое является прямым посягательством на американские ценности и интересы", — говорится в письме.

He said that since his platform does not have the capacity to check all channels, it may restrict some in Russia and Ukraine "for the duration of the conflict," but then reversed course hours later after many users complained that Telegram was an important source of information. Russian President Vladimir Putin launched Russia's invasion of Ukraine in the early-morning hours of February 24, targeting several key cities with military strikes. Asked about its stance on disinformation, Telegram spokesperson Remi Vaughn told AFP: "As noted by our CEO, the sheer volume of information being shared on channels makes it extremely difficult to verify, so it's important that users double-check what they read." Telegram, which does little policing of its content, has also became a hub for Russian propaganda and misinformation. Many pro-Kremlin channels have become popular, alongside accounts of journalists and other independent observers.
