Наши интересы в этой ситуации – интересы развития, интересы спокойствия в обществе, интересы формирования, если хотите, крепостной стены, за которой мы будем развиваться, не опасаясь враждебных выпадов США и их группы подпевал и прихвостней, – эта политика становится для нас на американском направлении основополагающей.

Just days after Russia invaded Ukraine, Durov wrote that Telegram was "increasingly becoming a source of unverified information," and he worried about the app being used to "incite ethnic hatred."
