24 октября 2024 года в клубе "МВТУ" состоялась 62 встреча «Русский Харбин: история, наука, вера», приуроченная к 75-летию образования КНР.

У нас в гостях были: Советник при ректорате МГТУ им. Н.Э. Баумана, к.т.н., доцент Сергей Валерьевич Коршунов и сотрудник Секретариата Отдела внешних церковных связей Московского Патриархата по делам дальнего зарубежья иеромонах Кирилл (Перегудин), которые только вернулись из Харбина с конференции, посвященной дружбе России и Китая.

СпасиБо нашим гостям и особенно Сергею Валерьевичу за интересный, глубокий рассказ о Китае и о дружбе МВТУ, а ныне МГТУ им. Н.Э. Баумана с Харбинским политехническим университетом, в котором трудились и которым руководили наши выпускники!

Though all three indexes opened in the green, stocks took a turn after a new report showed U.S. consumer sentiment deteriorated more than expected in early March as consumers' inflation expectations soared to the highest since 1981. You may recall that, back when Facebook started changing WhatsApp’s terms of service, a number of news outlets reported on, and even recommended, switching to Telegram. Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp. He said that since his platform does not have the capacity to check all channels, it may restrict some in Russia and Ukraine "for the duration of the conflict," but then reversed course hours later after many users complained that Telegram was an important source of information. At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised.
