У збірному матеріалі "На суше и на море" розповідали про зйомки дитячих(!!!) фільмів на Кіностудії ім. Довженка. Писали, що "Та, що входить в море" знімалась поблизу Кароліно-Бугазу. Цитували Осику: "Поезію пояснювати складно. Її потрібно просто розуміти".
Трохи пізніше, вже на обговоренні фільму в Держкіно УРСР, Осика був (очевидно мав бути) конкретнішим:
"Якщо порівняти фільм із театром, то це швидше за все балет.Про що фільм? Про красу, про яку ми всі забули, про гармонію тіла, гармонію природи. Якщо говорити про тему – це тема материнства. Експозиція, пляж, на мій погляд, аж надто гарно зняті оператором".
Конкретнішим і скромним. Він не претендував на новаторство, хоча фільм був прийнятий Держкіном як "фільм-пошук" і "фільм-експеримент".
