Санкции 🇨🇦 Канады от 17 июня. Часть 5 вклад ФБК* в их обоснование
Как нам подсказывают, под санкции 17 июня попали т.н. "50 друзей Путина", список которых был составлен и продвигался Фондом борьбы с коррупцией*.
Но в первоисточнике от 🇨🇦 МИД Канады не говорится о 50. Там указано (цитата): «список лиц, попавших под санкции, также включает 45 человек, выявленных Фондом борьбы с коррупцией. Он включает в себя должностных и частных лиц, которые оказывают прямую и косвенную поддержку военно-промышленному комплексу России и дезинформационным усилиям для обеспечения ее незаконной агрессии против Украины».
Но мы о том, что такого основания как нахождение в этом списке в Регламенте «О СЭМ в отношении России» для попадания под санкции нет. Не идёт об этом и в пресс-релизе министра Аниты Ананд.
Поэтому эти 45 из 77 физических лиц попали по общему антироссийскому «украинскому» основанию.

The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. The message was not authentic, with the real Zelenskiy soon denying the claim on his official Telegram channel, but the incident highlighted a major problem: disinformation quickly spreads unchecked on the encrypted app. Since January 2022, the SC has received a total of 47 complaints and enquiries on illegal investment schemes promoted through Telegram. These fraudulent schemes offer non-existent investment opportunities, promising very attractive and risk-free returns within a short span of time. They commonly offer unrealistic returns of as high as 1,000% within 24 hours or even within a few hours. Channels are not fully encrypted, end-to-end. All communications on a Telegram channel can be seen by anyone on the channel and are also visible to Telegram. Telegram may be asked by a government to hand over the communications from a channel. Telegram has a history of standing up to Russian government requests for data, but how comfortable you are relying on that history to predict future behavior is up to you. Because Telegram has this data, it may also be stolen by hackers or leaked by an internal employee.
