ناگهان احساس کردم به یک بیراهه احتیاج دارم، به حسی شبیه گم شدن اما امیدوار به پیدا شدن! آری، دوست داشتم همه چیزهای معقول زندگی‌ام را به یکباره رها کنم و به سمت آن مسیر نامعقولی حرکت کنم که میدانم، نمیدانم چه در انتهای مسیر رخ خواهد داد. همانطور که در گرمای بالای ۳۶ درجه‌ی ر‌ُم در اتاق کوچکم نشسته بودم و از عرق‌هایی که هر بار بیشتر و بیشتر خودشان را به لباسم میچسباندند و گویی قصد تمام شدن نداشتن کلافه شده بودم، فهمیدم که باید بروم جایی و برای مدتی گم شوم. میدانستم که به یک ندانستن احتیاج دارم. به یک مسیر، نه یک شروع دوباره. به یک حرکت، نه یک ادامه. به یک بی‌هدفی، نه یک برنامه‌ریزی مشخص! پس تصمیم گرفتم «خودم» را بشناسم. و اکنون هر قدم که بیشتر در جهان درونی‌ام جلو می‌روم، یک قدم بیشتر در جهان بیرونی پیدا میشوم. مسیرِ گم شدن در خودم گویی به پیدا شدنم در جهان بیرونی کمک میکند! چه گمشدگی باارزشی. متن #پونه_مقیمی

Right now the digital security needs of Russians and Ukrainians are very different, and they lead to very different caveats about how to mitigate the risks associated with using Telegram. For Ukrainians in Ukraine, whose physical safety is at risk because they are in a war zone, digital security is probably not their highest priority. They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders. The message was not authentic, with the real Zelenskiy soon denying the claim on his official Telegram channel, but the incident highlighted a major problem: disinformation quickly spreads unchecked on the encrypted app. Perpetrators of such fraud use various marketing techniques to attract subscribers on their social media channels. This ability to mix the public and the private, as well as the ability to use bots to engage with users has proved to be problematic. In early 2021, a database selling phone numbers pulled from Facebook was selling numbers for $20 per lookup. Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children. Two days after Russia invaded Ukraine, an account on the Telegram messaging platform posing as President Volodymyr Zelenskiy urged his armed forces to surrender.
