🕯 شاید جنگ بتواند از ما آدم دیگری بسازد

آدمی، موجودی‌ست شگفت‌انگیز.
آنگاه که به فانی بودن خود می‌اندیشد،
بیش از هر زمان دیگری
به دارایی‌های اصیل زندگی‌اش رجوع می‌کند.
آنچه تا دیروز رنگین و درخشان بود
و در زندگی جلوه‌گری می‌کرد،
به‌یکباره بی‌معنا می‌شود؛
و آنچه عادی، خاموش و بدیهی می‌نمود،
عنصری ژرف و معنادار می‌گردد.

آری...
از دست دادن‌ها،
همواره معناهای نو می‌آفرینند.

روزهای جنگ،
زمان اندیشیدن به مرگ است.
و درست در دل این هراس،
مجالی‌ست برای تولد معناهای تازه:

دیداری دوباره با آنان که دوستشان داریم،
بازگشت به کارهای ناتمام،
توجه به کودکانی که در هیاهوی روزمرگی از یادشان برده بودیم،
عشقی تازه به همسری که بی‌ادعا کنارمان ایستاد...
و فرصت دیدن آنچه سال‌ها نمی‌دیدیم.

شاید...
روزی که این آشوب پایان می‌گیرد،
ما نیز آدمی دیگر شده باشیم.
شاید...
