Интересно, что рождение цемента произошло не так уж и давно - в 1822 году, когда русский строитель Егор Челиев получил вяжущий материал из смеси извести и глины. Свои результаты он изложил в книге «Трактат об искусстве приготовлять хорошие строительные растворы», изданной в Петербурге.
