Перед выходом в плавание на судне прошла церемония поднятия флага Российской Федерации. «До 2035 года планируется построить порядка 13 научно-исследовательских судов. Сейчас строятся пять и прорабатываются вопросы размещения на отечественных производственных площадках серии из 3 крупнотоннажных научных судов для проведения исследований в открытых частях Мирового океана на базе проекта "НИС-АР" Конструкторского бюро "Вымпел". Также будут модернизированы 5 НИСов для Минобрнауки России <…>", - отметил вице-премьер - глава Минпромторга РФ Денис Мантуров.
