Здание Донецкого художественного музея, в котором он размещается с 1960-го года, ни разу не ремонтировалось.

Сейчас на первом этаже здания проводится капитальный ремонт. Обновляются фасад, электрика, системы безопасности и климат-контроль. Современное выставочное оборудование позволит раскрыть каждое произведение в новом свете.

Скоро заведение станет жемчужиной на культурной карте России.
