Книга о российско-британских отношениях со времен Ивана Грозного до наших дней представляет собой исследование с рассекреченными документами из архивов МИДа, Службы внешней разведки и ФСБ РФ, а также с документами из Национального архива Великобритании в Кью, архива Библиотеки Конгресса США и Федерального архива Германии. Некоторые материалы публикуются впервые.
