По итогам 2022 года «Международный аэропорт Иркутск» впервые за всю современную историю предприятия встретит 2,5-миллионного гостя. Ожидается, что в следующем году пассажиропоток достигнет трех миллионов человек.

«В этом году проведена большая работа по сотрудничеству с авиакомпаниями. Еще в начале года с базовыми перевозчиками «S7 Airlines» и «ИрАэро» было заключено соглашение о стратегическом партнерстве, что впоследствии повлияло на значительный рост пассажиропотока», - отметил первый заместитель Председателя Правительства Иркутской области Руслан Ситников.
