شهید علیرضا زمانی بیست و پنجم اذر 1347 در روستای چهل زرعی بخش زرنه شهرستان ایوان غرب استان ایلام متولد شد. پدرش مراد کشاورز بود و مادرش زینب نام داشت. به شهرستان اسلام‌ابادغرب استان کرمانشاه مهاجرت کردند. تا کلاس سوم دبیرستان در رشته انسانی درس خواند. به نماز شب و شب زنده‌داری و دعای توسل و زیارت عاشورا و دعای کمیل بسیار علاقه داشت. از طرف بسیج به جبهه رفت و به عنوان جانشین فرمانده گردان مشغول به فعالیت شد. علیرضا چهارم مرداد 1367 طی عملیات مرصاد هنگام درگیری با گروهک منافق سازمان مجاهدین خلق در اسلام‌ابادغرب بر اثر اصابت گلوله به سر به شهادت رسید. پیکرش در گلزار شهدای باغ‌رضوان اسلام‌ابادغرب به خاک سپرده شد
