Він як предстоятель під час богослужіння виголошував диптих у якому є імена всіх патріархів, архієпископів і митрополитів, що очолюють Помісні автокефальні Церкви. Зокерма, митрополит Тіхон згадав патріарха Варфоломія, патріарха Кіріла, але не згадав митрополита Онуфрія, чим показав нікчемність "автокефалії" УПЦ (МП).
