Участники второго саммита Китай — Центральная Азия, который завершился 17 июня в Астане, подписали Астанинскую декларацию и Договор о вечном добрососедстве, дружбе и сотрудничестве.

Договор подписали лидеры шести государств: Казахстана, Китая, Киргизии, Таджикистана, Туркменистана и Узбекистана.
Сунь Вэйдун сообщил, что главы провели «обстоятельный обмен мнениями», обсудили достижения и перспективы саммита, вопросы развития сотрудничества, региональные и международные вопросы и «вышли на целый ряд договоренностей».
