По предварительным данным, житель Череповца 1986 года рождения, управляя машиной "Хендай Солярис" двигался в сторону Череповца и слишком близко подъехал к впереди идущей «Нексии». Не выдержав безопасную дистанцию, водитель Соляриса совершил столкновение. От удара сзади «Нексию» выбросило на встречку под фуру. Пассажир "Нексии" погиб на месте, водитель, житель Череповца, 1974 г.р., доставлен в Шекснинскую больницу.
