Суд в Курске 25 июля признал 50-летнего мужчину и 41-летнюю женщину виновными в госизмене (статья 275 УК РФ) и приготовлении к диверсии (часть 1 статьи 30, пункт «а» части 2 статьи 281 УК РФ).
Бывшие супруги якобы собирали информацию о военных объектах на территории региона и готовились подорвать железнодорожную ветку, по которой Минобороны возит военную технику. ТАСС сообщило, что подсудимые работали на оборонном предприятии.
Суд рассматривал дело с конца мая. Мужчина получил 17 лет колонии строгого режима, его бывшая жена — 13 лет колонии общего режима. Суд назначил им штраф в размере 800 тыс. руб.
