خصیبی مهم‌ترین رهبر فکری فرقه نصیریه است. البته با توجه به سیستم تعلیم دیانت در نصیریه، عوام آن‌ها به ویژه زنان و کودکان لزوماً آشنایی درستی با شخصیت خصیبی و افکارش ندارند.
