DolphinGemma функционирует как аудиомодель: она обрабатывает последовательности естественных звуков дельфинов, чтобы выявлять закономерности, структуру и предсказывать вероятные последующие звуки существ. По словам разработчиков, технология может стать шагом к двустороннему общению между человеком и дельфином.
DolphinGemma уже работает на смартфонах Pixel — исследователи могут брать устройство под воду и анализировать звуки дельфинов в естественной среде обитания.
