В разные годы Роман возглавлял две крупнейшие телекомпании Нижневартовска — «Сфера» и «Транзит» — пиар-службы ТНК-ВР в Югре и Рязанской области. После вхождения нефтяной компании в состав «Роснефти» занимался сопровождением выборных и медиа-проектов в регионе.
