Были проведены длительные испытания. НК-33 отработал без съёма со стенда 16 запусков, наработал 15 тысяч секунд (4 часа 10 минут) и показал чрезвычайно высокую надежность — 999,4. И тяга у него совсем не слабая — больше 150 тн.
