Захватившие Дамаск представители вооруженной оппозиции гарантировали безопасность оставшимся в столице членам кабинета министров, сказал министр связи Сирии Ияд аль-Хатыб в эфире телеканала Al-Arabiya.

Премьер Сирии уже отправился на встречу для мирной передачи власти. Вопрос военного присутствия РФ будет решаться новым правительством, сказал он.

Меж тем арабские СМИ публикуют в воскресенье видео из Дамаска, где сносят памятник отцу президента Сирии Башара Асада Хафезу Асаду, по опустевшему президентскому дворцу ходят некие люди.
