🖼Il pittore divenne famoso per i ritratti di importanti personalità artistiche del suo tempo, così come della famiglia imperiale. Sapeva giocare con la luce: rendeva vibranti le sue opere con l’utilizzo delle tecniche impressionistiche e con uno sguardo del tutto personale. Valentin Serov insegnava, collaborava con i Peredvizhniki, faceva parte del consiglio della Galleria Tretyakov. Oggi ricordiamo le sue opere iconiche.
