Правозащитница Ольга Романова сообщает, что волонтёры написали политзаключённому политику Илье Яшину письма через сервис Ф-письмо в семь учреждений ФСИН (СИЗО и колоний) — и по каждому из писем ФСИН сообщил отправителю, что письмо доставлено адресату. Получается, что, по версии ФСИН, Яшин прямо сейчас сидит в семи местах одновременно и даже получает там корреспонденцию.

And that is why they let people choose whether they want their messages to be encrypted or not. When not turned on, though, chats are stored on Telegram's services, which are scattered throughout the world. But it has "disclosed 0 bytes of user data to third parties, including governments," Telegram states on its website. In a statement, the regulator said the search and seizure operation was carried out against seven individuals and one corporate entity at multiple locations in Ahmedabad and Bhavnagar in Gujarat, Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, and Mumbai. Perpetrators of these scams will create a public group on Telegram to promote these investment packages that are usually accompanied by fake testimonies and sometimes advertised as being Shariah-compliant. Interested investors will be asked to directly message the representatives to begin investing in the various investment packages offered. "There are a lot of things that Telegram could have been doing this whole time. And they know exactly what they are and they've chosen not to do them. That's why I don't trust them," she said.
