30 тонн ненужной резины превратили в крошку, а затем в покрытие для беговой дорожки длиной более 3 км.

Ширина дорожки — 2 метра, а толщина покрытия — 8 мм. Старые покрышки сдавали жители Казани во время специальной акции.

Открытие дорожки приурочено к старту Казанского марафона 3 мая. Именно его основателю — директору серии спортивных мероприятий TIMERMAN Вадиму Янгирову — принадлежит идея создания дорожки.

Проект поддержала мэрия Казани и Дирекция парков и скверов, которые интегрировали его в долгосрочную стратегию развития территории.

Генеральным партнером выступила компания СИБУР, взявшая на себя полное финансирование работ.
