On 28 June 2025, the IEEE Member and Geographic Activities Board approved the following recipients of the 2025 MGA Outstanding Large, Medium and Small Section Awards, based on 2024 activities:
The 2025 MGA Outstanding Large Section Award recipient is the IEEE Jordan Section from Region 8
The 2025 MGA Outstanding Medium Section Award recipient is the IEEE Iran Section from Region 8
The 2025 MGA Outstanding Small Section Award recipient is the IEEE Costa Rica Section from Region 9
Congratulations to the IEEE Jordan, Iran, and Costa Rica Sections for being selected for these awards and "For successful efforts in fulfilling the educational and scientific goals of IEEE for the benefit of the public by maintaining, enhancing, and supporting the Student Branches, Technical Chapters, and Affinity Groups within their geographic boundaries."

The headline CPI — soaring 7.9% over last year — underscored the sticky inflationary pressures reverberating across the U.S. economy, with everything from groceries to rents and airline fares getting more expensive for everyday consumers. The fake Zelenskiy account reached 20,000 followers on Telegram before it was shut down, a remedial action that experts say is all too rare. The regulator said it has been undertaking several campaigns to educate the investors to be vigilant while taking investment decisions based on stock tips.
