«Раймонд всегда любил наших исполнителей. Он вырос в СССР и ценит все настоящее: любит хорошие голоса, талантливых исполнителей. Для меня то, что он поддерживает Россию, не удивление. Это зависит от порядочности человека, от его воспитания. Раймонду есть с чем сравнивать. Он прекрасно знает, что было в Юрмале до распада СССР и что стало сейчас. Слава Богу, он на лету не переодевается»
