На прошлой неделе студенты ВолгГМУ из клуба экскурсоводов успешно провели экскурсии для иностранных студентов по городу Волгограду.
🇷🇺 Участники Международного клуба дружбы смогли погрузиться в богатую историю и культуру Волгограда, посетив важные исторические места: Мамаев Курган, Площадь Павших Борцов. Полюбовались на Волгу и прогулялись по набережной.
Студенты также познакомились с местной культурой и узнали много интересного об образе жизни в России.

VSMU students from the guide club successfully conducted excursions for international students around our city last week
🇷🇺 Members of International friendship club plunged into the rich culture of Volgograd by visiting important historical sites, such as Mamaev Kurgan and Fallen Fighters Square. They also admired the Volga River and walked along its embankment
The students also got familiar with the local culture and learned a lot of interesting facts about the lifestyle in Russia.

After fleeing Russia, the brothers founded Telegram as a way to communicate outside the Kremlin's orbit. They now run it from Dubai, and Pavel Durov says it has more than 500 million monthly active users. So, uh, whenever I hear about Telegram, it’s always in relation to something bad. What gives? Oh no. There’s a certain degree of myth-making around what exactly went on, so take everything that follows lightly. Telegram was originally launched as a side project by the Durov brothers, with Nikolai handling the coding and Pavel as CEO, while both were at VK. "There is a significant risk of insider threat or hacking of Telegram systems that could expose all of these chats to the Russian government," said Eva Galperin with the Electronic Frontier Foundation, which has called for Telegram to improve its privacy practices.
