«Территория вокруг Авдеевской промзоны хорошо пристреляна артиллерией противника. Сближаясь, пехота не имеет возможности подтаскивать свою артиллерию близко к позициям ВСУ. Но нужно концентрировать огневые кулаки».

"The area around the Avdiivka industrial zone is well-targeted by enemy artillery. It is impossible to move our artillery close to the positions of Ukrainian militants. But we need to concentrate our fire fists".

A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. For example, WhatsApp restricted the number of times a user could forward something, and developed automated systems that detect and flag objectionable content. The account, "War on Fakes," was created on February 24, the same day Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a "special military operation" and troops began invading Ukraine. The page is rife with disinformation, according to The Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, which studies digital extremism and published a report examining the channel. However, the perpetrators of such frauds are now adopting new methods and technologies to defraud the investors. After fleeing Russia, the brothers founded Telegram as a way to communicate outside the Kremlin's orbit. They now run it from Dubai, and Pavel Durov says it has more than 500 million monthly active users.
