Die "Klimaneutralität" Deutschlands binnen zwanzig Jahren steht mittlerweile sogar im Grundgesetz, abgesichert durch das Urteil des BVerfG von 2021.
Das gleiche Deutschland hat sich auf dem G7-Gipfel in Elmau 2015 zu folgenden globalen Zielen bekannt:
"Das als vorrangig gesehene Ergebnis des Gipfels war klimapolitischer Natur: das gegen den Widerstand Japans beschlossene Bekenntnis der G7-Staaten zum Zwei-Grad-Ziel der Erderwärmung und jenes zur Dekarbonisierung der Weltwirtschaft bis zum Ende des 21. Jahrhunderts, also dem schrittweisen und vollständigen Verzicht auf fossile Energieträger wie Kohle, Erdgas und Erdöl. Bis 2050 sollen die weltweiten Emissionen von Treibhausgasen gegenüber 2010 um 40 bis 70 % reduziert werden."

Soloviev also promoted the channel in a post he shared on his own Telegram, which has 580,000 followers. The post recommended his viewers subscribe to "War on Fakes" in a time of fake news. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations.
