В целях содействия развитию Украины ФРГ выделила 544 млн евро помощи с 2014 года. Еще 110 млн евро Берлин предоставил в качестве гуманитарной помощи, сумма финансового кредита достигла 500 млн евро. Кроме того, Киев получил от Берлина 25 млн евро на стабилизацию ситуации в стране, а также 200 млн евро были выплачены Украине по каналам ЕС.
