Skoda Group завершила поставку трамваев ForCity Plus 30Т в Братиславу

Чешская компания доставила в столицу Словакии последний двусторонний пятисекционный трамвай ForCity Plus 30Т из партии объемом 10 единиц, заказанной в мае 2022 года за €26,5 млн. Сейчас отдельные трамваи проходят на улицах города испытания без пассажиров, в ходе которых каждый должен преодолеть 200 км пробега. Ввод в эксплуатацию запланирован по завершении тестирования.

Трамваи ForCity Plus 30T длиной 32,5 м состоят из 5 секций на 4 тележках. Модель с уровнем низкого пола 92% вмещает 242 пассажиров, включая 52 сидячих места. Максимальная скорость подвижного состава ограничена 65 км/ч.

В Братиславе уже работают 30 трамваев этой модели, и поставленные отличаются от них обновленной маской. В 2023 году в городе также начали обкатку трамваев ForCity Plus 29T3, заказанных у Skoda Group в количестве 30 единиц в марте 2022 года за €72 млн.

Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. In addition, Telegram's architecture limits the ability to slow the spread of false information: the lack of a central public feed, and the fact that comments are easily disabled in channels, reduce the space for public pushback. Telegram has gained a reputation as the “secure” communications app in the post-Soviet states, but whenever you make choices about your digital security, it’s important to start by asking yourself, “What exactly am I securing? And who am I securing it from?” These questions should inform your decisions about whether you are using the right tool or platform for your digital security needs. Telegram is certainly not the most secure messaging app on the market right now. Its security model requires users to place a great deal of trust in Telegram’s ability to protect user data. For some users, this may be good enough for now. For others, it may be wiser to move to a different platform for certain kinds of high-risk communications.
