Отже, живе тіло – це тіло, яке може зазнати ушкодження, але водночас спроможне на хоча б часткове самозагоєння. Так само й християнин – це не той, хто ніколи не чинить неправильно, а той, хто, спіткнувшись, здатний щоразу каятися, скріплювати сили і починати все спочатку, бо ж Христове життя, оселившись у ньому, повсякчас повертає його до належного стану і дає змогу (бодай лише певною мірою) знов і знов проходити через добровільну смерть, через яку пройшов був і сам Христос.
