Помощник президента и бывший министр культуры Владимир Мединский возглавит делегацию. Кроме того, в нее вошли замминистра иностранных дел Михаил Галузин, начальник ГУ Генштаба ВС РФ Игорь Костюков и замминистра обороны РФ Александр Фомин.
Также в составе делегации в Турцию отправятся четверо экспертов - первый замначальника информации управления Генштаба ВС РФ Александр Зорин, замначальника Управления президента РФ по государственной политике в гуманитарной сфере Елена Подобреевская, директор Второго департамента стран СНГ МИД РФ Алексей Полищук и замначальника ГУ международного военного сотрудничества Минобороны России Владимир Шевцов.
