Закончу серию о журнале «Мурзилка» (1, 2, 3, 4) писателем Ал. Алтаевым — Маргаритой Ямщиковой. После Октябрьской революции Ямщикова работала в Смольном, "редактировала" письма в газетах «Солдатская правда» и «Деревенская беднота». Подруга Бокия — Ввел меня в военную организацию мой друг со студенческих лет Г.И. Бокий, тогда секретарь Петроградского комитета большевиков. Написала150 книг и 40 лет жила в гостинице «Метрополь».
В музее Маргариты Ямщиковой в усадьбе Лог рассказывают: её чёрный кот Мавр наводил ужас на всю Москву, и Михаил Булгаков писал с него Бегемота (почему не с неё Маргариту штурмана Жоржа?🤨). Кот, кстати похоронен под Кремлевской стеной.

Subsequently, control of the company was reportedly handed to oligarchs Alisher Usmanov and Igor Sechin, both allegedly close associates of Russian leader Vladimir Putin. The news also helped traders look past another report showing decades-high inflation and shake off some of the volatility from recent sessions. The Bureau of Labor Statistics' February Consumer Price Index (CPI) this week showed another surge in prices even before Russia escalated its attacks in Ukraine. The headline CPI — soaring 7.9% over last year — underscored the sticky inflationary pressures reverberating across the U.S. economy, with everything from groceries to rents and airline fares getting more expensive for everyday consumers. Telegram, which does little policing of its content, has also became a hub for Russian propaganda and misinformation. Many pro-Kremlin channels have become popular, alongside accounts of journalists and other independent observers. Asked about its stance on disinformation, Telegram spokesperson Remi Vaughn told AFP: "As noted by our CEO, the sheer volume of information being shared on channels makes it extremely difficult to verify, so it's important that users double-check what they read."
