Всё случилось в Каспийском море вблизи Махачкалы. Малыша заметил спасатель Дагестанского поисково-спасательного отряда МЧС России. Животное запуталось в рыболовной сети и не могло самостоятельно освободиться.
Сотрудник ведомства разрезал оковы и выпустил детеныша тюленя в море. Малыш вновь оказался на воле благодаря спасателю Эльдару Зайпуллаеву.
