Siemens представила вагон для метро Сиднея

Siemens представила полноразмерный макет вагона поезда, который будет курсировать по строящейся линии метро Western Sydney Airport. Проект реализуется консорциумом Parklife Metro, в который входит Siemens. Презентация макета позволит собрать пожелания от потенциальных пассажиров по внесению изменений в конструкцию вагона.

23-километровая линия Western Sydney Airport, которая свяжет центр Сиднея с новым аэропортом, в настоящее время строится и должна быть введена в эксплуатацию в 2026 году. Для нее Siemens поставит 12 трехвагонных беспилотных поездов.

Контракт на поставку поездов для новой линии был заключен в конце 2022 года. Кроме поставки подвижного состава, он также включает создание специального депо для поездов, поставку систем сигнализации и телекоммуникационного оборудования. Общая стоимость участия Siemens в проекте - €900 млн.
