🇷🇺 Постпредство России при ООН в Нью-Йорке вновь присоединилось к акции #ОкнаПобеды: окна жилого дома сотрудников дипломатической миссии зажглись светом, складываясь в цифру 80 — в знак благодарности и памяти о тех, кто подарил нам мирное небо и свободу.

Победа была общей — но её основную тяжесть вынесли на себе именно народы СССР, потерявшие 27 миллионов жизней.

🕯️ Мы помним подвиг каждого. Мы чтим союзников. Мы храним правду.

Oleksandra Matviichuk, a Kyiv-based lawyer and head of the Center for Civil Liberties, called Durov’s position "very weak," and urged concrete improvements. The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. Meanwhile, a completely redesigned attachment menu appears when sending multiple photos or vides. Users can tap "X selected" (X being the number of items) at the top of the panel to preview how the album will look in the chat when it's sent, as well as rearrange or remove selected media. In view of this, the regulator has cautioned investors not to rely on such investment tips / advice received through social media platforms. It has also said investors should exercise utmost caution while taking investment decisions while dealing in the securities market. Asked about its stance on disinformation, Telegram spokesperson Remi Vaughn told AFP: "As noted by our CEO, the sheer volume of information being shared on channels makes it extremely difficult to verify, so it's important that users double-check what they read."
