На качественных снимках нового экспортного Су-34МЭ для ВВС Алжира можно отчетливо заметить снизу спереди некое изделие, похожее либо на новую ОЭС (оптико-электронную систему), либо на новый БКО (бортовой комплекс обороны).

Не исключено, что заказчика не очень впечатлили характеристики стандартного прицельно-лазерного комплекса «Платан». Как говорится «Все лучшее — детям». Алжирским.
