86 лет назад – 10 марта 1939 года белорусской оперой Евгения Тикоцкого «Міхась Падгорны» открылось собственное здание Большого театра Беларуси (по проекту И.Лангбарда) на Троицкой горе.

Первым балетом на собственной сцене театра стал «Бахчисарайский фонтан» Б.Асафьева (1939). И первый белорусский балет был поставлен тоже в 1939-м - это был «Соловей» М.Крошнера по мотивам повести Змитрока Бядули.
