از تأسیس خانگی تا تبدیل شدن به تنها کتابخانه عمومی شهر؛ داستان نامگذاری کتابخانه‌ای به نام «دکتر محمدعلی اسلامی نُدوشن» که از خواست مردم شکل گرفت.
بیش از شصت سال قبل این کتابخانه به صورت خانگی تأسیس شده، سپس با همکاری مردم به حجره‌ای در حسینیه انتقال یافت و از این رو به یکی از اولین کتابخانه‌های روستایی ایران مشهور شد. به مرور زمان با حضور علاقه‌مندان و تلاش‌های مردمی به یک مرکز فرهنگی و ادبی عمومی تبدیل گردید. و در سال ۱۳۶۶ این کتابخانه رسماً تأسیس شد. با توجه به اینکه کتابخانه مذکور تنها کتابخانه عمومی شهر است، خواست مردم مبنی بر نامگذاری آن به نام دکتر اسلامی نُدوشن اهمیت ویژه‌ای یافت که با همراهی مسئولان انحام گرفت. این نامگذاری نشان‌دهنده توجه اهالی شهر به پاسداشت فرهنگ و بزرگان فرهنگی کشور در کنار ارائه خدمات روزمره به مردم است. ---- کانال دکتر اسلامی نُدوشن @dr_eslaminodoushan
