30 сентября 1943 года экипаж самолёта Пе-2 в составе командира Василия Гречишкина, штурмана Алексея Перегудова и стрелка-радиста Ивана Марченко вылетел на бомбардировку дальнобойной батареи, обстреливающей Ленинград.

При подходе к цели самолёт попал под зенитный огонь противника, был подбит и загорелся.
Василий Николаевич Гречишкин направил горящий самолёт на артиллерийские позиции, совершив огненный таран.

Считалось, что погиб весь экипаж. Но после войны выяснилось, что радиста Ивана Марченко выбросило из самолёта и он в бессознательном состоянии попал в плен.
После Победы Иван Фёдорович Марченко вернулся в Ленинград.

An official Twitter account for the Russia diplomatic mission in Geneva shared a fake debunking video claiming without evidence that "Western and Ukrainian media are creating thousands of fake news on Russia every day." The video, which has amassed almost 30,000 views, offered a "how-to" spot misinformation. Soloviev also promoted the channel in a post he shared on his own Telegram, which has 580,000 followers. The post recommended his viewers subscribe to "War on Fakes" in a time of fake news. But Telegram says people want to keep their chat history when they get a new phone, and they like having a data backup that will sync their chats across multiple devices. And that is why they let people choose whether they want their messages to be encrypted or not. When not turned on, though, chats are stored on Telegram's services, which are scattered throughout the world. But it has "disclosed 0 bytes of user data to third parties, including governments," Telegram states on its website.
