«Путин делает во имя своей страны то, что считает лучшим для нее», – добавил Экклстоун.
Работники шоу переполошились и не на шутку испугались заявлений, которые идут вразрез с русофобским трендом в Британии. И они были вынуждены опубликовать позже целое оправдательное письмо, в котором заявили, что точка зрения Берни Экклстоуна не совпадает с политикой канала.
Ещё деталь. Фотографии Путина, которыми был оформлен эфир, были поспешно «заблюрены». Мол, нечего любоваться российским лидером.
