25 февраля состоялся первый соревновательный день первенства СКФО по вольной борьбе среди юношей до 16 лет. В этот день были разыграны медали в весовых категориях: до 35, 41, 48, 57, 68, 85 кг.
Юношеская сборная команда РСО-Алания выступила успешно и завоевала 5 наград - 1 золотую, 1 серебряную и 3 бронзовые.
Во второй день соревнований первенства СКФО по вольной борьбе среди юношей до 16 лет, который прошел 26 февраля, осетинские борцы завоевали 5 наград. Спортсмены боролись за медали в весовых категориях до 38, 44, 52, 62, 75 и 100 кг.
