شهد ريف القنيطرة الجنوبي توغلًا عسكريًا إسرائيليًا جديدًا، حيث دخلت قوات إسرائيلية مصحوبة بعربات مدرعة الأراضي السورية بالقرب من بلدة الرفيد. وخلال العملية، قامت القوات باعتقال محمود هلال الفنيش أثناء رعيه للأغنام، وفقًا لما ذكره موقع "تجمع أحرار حوران".
وبحسب الموقع، جرت عملية التوغل والاعتقال في ظل صمت لافت من قوات النظام السوري، التي تنتشر على مقربة من المنطقة في نقاط عسكرية لا تبعد سوى أمتار عن الموقع.
