Американцы опасаются, что пролёты на F-35 рядом c радарами С-400 вскроют радиосигнатуру истребителя, после чего каким-то образом ЗРК отправит их в Россию. Поэтому условием поставки истребителей является согласие Турции разобрать или перевезти свои С-400 на американскую базу.
