Согласно материалам фильтрационного дела, он содержался в лагерях военнопленных на территории Белорусской ССР и в Литве.
Домой он вернулся истощенный, практически без стоп обеих ног, с сильнейшим кашлем. Прожил после войны всего несколько лет.
