Media School "Balkans and BRICS+" Comes to an End in Belgrade 🇷🇸
From March 14 to 16, an international media school for young journalists and students of humanitarian studies from BRICS and Balkan countries took place in Belgrade. The project was organized by the NGO "Ragusa" with grant support from the Gorchakov Fund.
The program included:
🔸 Lectures on creative and public diplomacy in BRICS countries; 🔸 Workshops on information analysis and working with the media agenda under sanctions pressure; 🔸 Seminars on digital security, academic collaboration, and humanitarian initiatives within BRICS+.

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) had carried out a similar exercise in 2017 in a matter related to circulation of messages through WhatsApp. But the Ukraine Crisis Media Center's Tsekhanovska points out that communications are often down in zones most affected by the war, making this sort of cross-referencing a luxury many cannot afford. In view of this, the regulator has cautioned investors not to rely on such investment tips / advice received through social media platforms. It has also said investors should exercise utmost caution while taking investment decisions while dealing in the securities market. Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands.
