Какой раритет 2010 года нашла в компьютере! Аккурат к Каннскому кинофестивалю, на котором царит официальный ювелирный партнер Chopard. 15 лет (!) назад мы с Марией Лобановой, тогда главредом Sex and the City (SNC),
задумали сделать эпохальный материал об истории швейцарского бренда в России. Et voila!

Текст прочесть, конечно, сложно, но оцените еще совсем юную Светлану Устинову, супермоделей Наоми Кэмпбелл и Эстер Каньядос на показе в Колонном зале, и приезд Элтона Джона да Лиз Хёрли. «И я там был, мед, пиво пил…»

И как хороша светская «шпилька» вечного противостояния Собчак и вполне еще балетной Анастасии Волочковой в верстке на второй странице. Кстати, Ксения Анатольевна запечатлена здесь в колье de Grisogono. Хотя «медведей» и «слонов» Chopard в её коллекции тогда было не мало…

И да, это была наша постоянная рубрики «Фантомые боли». Хотя «боли» особой то ни у кого нет, все герои - в непрекращающемся созидании.

The message was not authentic, with the real Zelenskiy soon denying the claim on his official Telegram channel, but the incident highlighted a major problem: disinformation quickly spreads unchecked on the encrypted app. He said that since his platform does not have the capacity to check all channels, it may restrict some in Russia and Ukraine "for the duration of the conflict," but then reversed course hours later after many users complained that Telegram was an important source of information. Ukrainian forces have since put up a strong resistance to the Russian troops amid the war that has left hundreds of Ukrainian civilians, including children, dead, according to the United Nations. Ukrainian and international officials have accused Russia of targeting civilian populations with shelling and bombardments. At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised.
